Over thirty years I have acquired a broad understanding of the Upstream Energy Sector and developed strong and trusted client relationships. Through working for both emerging and established technology and service companies I have the experience to articulate value and promote solutions that deliver results.

I am able to provide balanced recommendations prior to implementing business development or sales strategies. I have developed good negotiating, interpersonal and communication skills and I have a proven track record in business development and sales.

I am based in the UK, and have extensive experience working in Northern and Western Europe as well as the Middle East and North Africa, with some experience in Sub-Saharan Africa and parts of South East Asia.

Experience

International – Consulting: 13 Years. CouttsGibb. Principal Consultant leading business development and sales initiatives for a number of clients in the UK, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and South East Asia.

UK – Technology & Consulting: 3 Years. Halliburton, Fugro-Jason. Principal Business Development Manager and Account Manager. Technical focus: Data Management, Geosciences, Geomodelling and Drilling & Completions software and services.

UK – Subsurface Consultancy: 2 Years: Horizon Energy Partners. Business Development Manager. Influential in creating the vision, strategy and character of the UK business. Successfully built up an extensive programme of new and repeat business for an expanding team of geoscientists and engineers.

South East Asia – Well Services: 1 Year: The Expro Group. Country Manager for Malaysia, Vietnam, Myanmar and India. Principal representative for Expro’s business which included sales and operations management of Well Testing, Wire Line and Data Acquisition services. Resident in Malaysia.

Middle East & North Africa – Technology & Consulting: 8 Years. Landmark Graphics. Practice Manager focused on securing and delivering consulting services to national and international clients in the Middle East and North Africa. Resident in Kuwait and the UAE.

Prior roles as a Geologist with Robertson Research, Elf Enterprise Caledonia and Kingston Geological Services.
